15. Chloe’s Ghost In Planting Merle

The Myrtle Plantation House in St. Francisville, Louisiana is home to at least 12 ghosts, the most famous being the ghost of Chloe, who works as a planter and is seen wearing a green turban. Allegedly a slave owned by Chloe Mark and Sarah Woodruff. She was once entertained by Clark Woodruff’s personal conversation. As punishment, one of his ears was cut off by his master and he wore a green turban to cover it.

Chloe is thought to have made a birthday cake as part of her revenge by extracting highly poisonous boil and low-oil leaves. But his plan thwart. Only Sarah Creepy Pictures and her two daughters ate the cake, and all died of poisoning. Chloe was then hang by other slaves, and thrown into the Mississippi River. She still plants today.
